New video clip gathers more than 100 million views in 2 days

K-pop superstar BTS dropped its comeback album “BE” (Deluxe Edition) on Nov. 20. In just two days, its music video gathered more than 10 million views on YouTube to become its 27th song to reach the milestone.

A mounting number of BTS fans watch the music video for the new album’s title song “Life Goes On,” which they say resonates with people suffering from COVID-19.

“Just three words, I cry now. I have never cried like this in my life because of the amount of feelings in this album,” a fan said.

“BTS always makes us cry out of joy, from happiness and sometimes from sadness. But now I cry because the warmth and tenderness of the album and the song made me feel very strange.”

“I’ve been working from home since mid-March, and the situation here in the United States is not good. Nowadays, I feel like I’m in a home prison. I talked with my close colleagues, and they also feel the same way,” another fan said.

“I found the lyrics, and I burst out crying. I feel thankful for the first time that Korean is my mother language since I’m able to fully understand, feel and sync with the lyrics. The lyrics are so sad and so realistic but also telling us to see a better future.”

“I can’t explain what I am feeling during and after watching/listening to this song. This is so beautiful. I am seriously at a loss for words. I cried watching the music video. It is so beautiful,” another said.

“I just woke up and came straight here to watch this video.”

Indeed, BTS member Jimin said during a recent interview with Rolling Stone India that COVID-19 greatly affected the seven-piece boy group in preparing for the new album.

“We reflected the emotions that we felt during this unprecedented period into this album,” he said.
