Two companies strive to expand global reach
South Korea’s Abyss Company, an entertainment agency representing singer Young Tak, has announced a strategic partnership with U.S.-based Symphonic Distribution as part of its push into global music markets.
According to local media reports of late, Abyss signed the agreement with Symphonic, a Florida-based music distribution company that recently expanded its reach into Europe.
The partnership will allow Abyss to leverage Symphonic’s global distribution network to promote emerging artists and content worldwide.
Through the new alliance, Abyss will introduce rising Southeast Asian talents—including newly signed Filipino artists Anthony Meneses and Matéo—to international audiences via Symphonic’s digital and promotional platforms.
The company also expects this partnership to create broader opportunities for its established Korean artists, including Sunmi, Sandara Park, and MeloMance, to gain greater exposure on the global stage.
An Abyss Company spokesman said that the firm’s vision was to create a space where artists would be able to grow authentically and be heard around the world.
Originally founded in 2019 as Blue Entertainment, Abyss Company rebranded to its current name at the end of 2020. It has since grown into a notable player in the Korean music industry with a diverse roster of talent.
Symphonic Distribution, founded in 2016 in Florida, offers a full suite of services and infrastructure support for independent labels and artists across the globe.
