The Korea Electronics Association (KEA) announced on Oct. 9 that it will brief global technology regulations in the electronics and information sectors on Oct. 22 in Seoul.

The KEA noted that the event aims to help Korean companies proactively respond to the rapidly changing landscape of international technology regulations.

Among the targeted industries are semiconductors, displays, smart appliances, AI systems, and telecommunications equipment, according to the KEA.

As digital transformation accelerates worldwide, global regulatory frameworks are evolving in ways that directly affect product development, certification, and market entry, the KEA said.

Against this backdrop, the KEA strives to help the Korean electronics and IT industries adapt to the fast-changing environments hugely affected by new regulatory areas.

The upcoming KEA briefing will bring together experts from industry, academia, and government agencies to analyze these shifting regulatory dynamics and to discuss practical strategies for compliance and innovation.

Participation in the briefing session is free of charge, and advance registration is available through the KEA website.

“Responding to global technology regulations is no longer optional but essential,” KEA Vice Chairman Park Jae-young said in a statement.

“The KEA has been actively sharing information, resolving industry challenges, and expanding consulting support for businesses.”
