South Korea’s cybersecurity giant AhnLab announced on Nov. 25 that it has concluded its year-long blood donation campaign, organized in celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary.

AhnLab noted that the campaign encouraged employees to donate blood throughout the year, aiming for a combined total of 300 blood packs and donation certificates.

To commemorate the milestone anniversary, AhnLab held four quarterly blood donation events for its employees in March, June, September, and November.

AhnLab arranged on-site blood donation buses at its headquarters, where participating employees could donate blood and immediately contribute their issued donation certificates.

Employees unable to join in person also took part by donating previously issued blood donation certificates, including those from family members, according to AhnLab.

By the end of the campaign, AhnLab recorded a total of 301 donations, surpassing its original target.

All collected blood donation certificates will be delivered to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, supporting children undergoing treatment for leukemia.

Throughout the campaign period, AhnLab introduced various engagement programs to expand voluntary participation, the company noted.

“Commemorating the company’s meaningful 30th anniversary reminded me that blood donation is a real moment of ‘connection’ that can protect someone’s life,” AhnLab official Jang Yoo-lim said. “I want to continue contributing to initiatives like this in the future.”
